Everyone must leave something behind

“Granger stood looking back with Montag. ‘Everyone must leave something behind when he dies’ my grandfather said… Something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when die, and when people look at that tree or that flower you planted, you’re there.” — Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451

Every thing you and I do leaves a fingerprint on the ones we serve. Instead of shooting for the one big thing that you want to be remembered for, aim for the little targets you can hit every day.

By the way, I just finished Fahrenheit 451. I experienced a book that could have been written about today. I found the subjects and themes highly relevant. I am glad that I invested my time there.
